Attorney at Law

Chris graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1995 and began practicing Entertainment Law with Gordon, Martin Jones & Harris on Music Row. In August 1999, she began working for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services as an Assistant General Counsel and spent the next twenty-plus years there, retiring from the state as Regional General Counsel over Davidson County in 2020. Recently widowed, Chris began traveling the world as soon as travel restrictions related to the pandemic would allow, but by 2023 she missed being in the courtroom and decided to go back to practicing law. Chris is a Child Welfare Law Specialist and enjoys litigation. In her free time, she continues to travel and enjoys music and reading.
